Administrators can choose to not send notifications to applicants when accepting applications. This works when accepting by batch and when accepting an individual application.
However, it will not be an option in two scenarios:
1. If you have disabled Accept/Return in the Routing Steps section of the opportunity.
2. If you set up Applicant-Driven Routing Steps, which disables the Accept/Return function.
In these two scenarios, applicants will not receive any notification about their application being accepted into the review process, but the application status will be automatically set to Accepted (when Accept/Return is disabled) or Assigned (when using Applicant-Driven Routing Steps) in the Data Grid.
