Include an attachment in a routing step if you want the reviewer to download the file and then re-upload after filling it out as part of their review.

For example, a score sheet provided by an external entity may need to be completed in addition to your internal review process.

Note: If you upload a document in a routing step, the reviewer will have to upload something for their review. If the document you want to upload is informational only, we recommend putting the text in the Reviewer Instructions box at the top of the routing step instead, or giving reviewers specific instructions to re-upload the file.

Reviewer Instructions box. Red arrow pointing to chart icon in CK Editor with text "To create a rubric, insert a table." In the text box, it says: "Add instructions or a scoring rubric here that applies to the whole routing step. This box will appear for each routing step so you can customize instructions." Add attachments section below text box with button that says "Choose File." Red arrow pointing to that button that says: "Upload any file type here."
