The information below is only relevant for the legacy routing steps experience, which was the default experience prior to August 2026. For more information on the new routing steps experience, see this article.

If a committee routing step is included, the default reviewer (usually the owner/primary administrator or committee chair) may want to send a committee packet prior to the live meeting.

From the Data Grid, the admin should select all applications they want to be included in the packet, and then from the Batch Application Actions dropdown, select Assign Reviewers to Applications. Select the routing step, and a message box will appear:

Assign Reviewer(s) dialog box. Committee Reviewer's email address is displayed but greyed out (can't edit)

Once reviews are assigned, the default reviewer can go to their Reviews tab and open the first review to send the packet.

  • Click the Email Committee Packet to Committee button.
  • Type in the committee members' email addresses, verify the message, and click Send Packet to Committee button.

The packet is sent as a PDF with a table of contents and includes:

  • application packets for each submission
  • any prior reviews
  • score sheets for the current review step
