Clients with Gold and Platinum licenses have access to two additional types of templates: 1) the General template and 2) the Bulletin Board template. The Bulletin Board provides a way to post only the Details page of an opportunity within InfoReady, but it can be used in a variety of ways.

Uses for the Bulletin Board template:

  • Application processes managed by external organizations (e.g., grants, scholarships) - Use Apply button to link directly to wherever the application is hosted.
  • Advertising a group of internal opportunities- Don't show the Apply button but include links to already launched opportunities in Description section. Then use Share button to send out the group of links to listservs or individuals.
  • Updating an ongoing/rolling process - Update the Apply Button URL to the current instance of a specific program while keeping the posting always visible on your site. For example, include static details about a scholarship program in the bulletin board posting, and update the URL to the current year's application once it's launched. When the application is closed, hide the Apply button on the Bulletin Board posting and change the Description to include a message about when the next year's application will become live.

To use the template, from the Create tab, select InfoReady Templates > Bulletin Board.

Create competition page. Template source dropdown: InfoReady Templates selected. Template dropdown: Bulletin Board selected.

Enter any pertinent information on the next page. Administrators can choose to show or hide an Apply button that can link to an external opportunity, or another opportunity on your InfoReady site. They can also change the label on the button to reflect the posting, such as “Nominate” or “Begin Form.”

Show Apply Button? field is highlighted by red outlined box. Admin can add a url to the text field next to it. Button Label customization field is below that field.
