When awarding an individual application, the administrator has the option to enter project start and end dates. The end date will auto-populate one year from the start date, but the administrator can change it to any future date.


Note: Dates entered in this section will show in several reports. If an extension is added, it will show as the new End Date in Excel reports. For more information, read this article.

Once project start and end dates are entered, two more buttons appear in this section, Add Extension and Edit.

Click Edit to change the start and end dates. Click Add Extension to record a no-cost extension for the project:


1. Extension date - Default is one year from previous end date, but admin can enter any future date.

2. Approved by - Enter plain text to record approval (e.g., individual's name, office abbreviation, etc.)

3. Approved on - Record the date the no-cost extension was approved.

4. Justification (optional) - Upload any file as additional documentation.

5. Save Extension - Click to save the entire entry.

6. Edit - Click to edit any previously entered information. Previous extensions must be deleted (using the trash can icon) before start or end dates can be edited.

7. Add Extension - Click to enter another extension.
