Below are the recommended steps for creating a template that will be used in combination with pushing opportunities from Pivot:

1. Begin creating a template by choosing an InfoReady template from the Template Selection Screen. Work through all the pages (Details, Requirements, Routing Steps, Notifications, and Progress Reports) and then on the Finalize page, select Save as Template.

2. Push from Pivot and then select that template from My Templates on the Template Selection Screen anytime you need to create a specific opportunity.

Notes

  • All of the Pivot fields always transfer initially, but you can customize your site's settings to either show or hide all of them to applicants by default. Regardless of how the fields show after the initial push, you can then check or uncheck the boxes to the left of each, or delete those you don't need for reporting.
  • There isn't a way to choose upfront which fields transfer from Pivot.
  • If you have added custom fields to the Details page, those are completely separate from the Pivot fields. Data will not map from a Pivot field to a custom InfoReady field.
    • For example, if you add a field called "Sponsor" to the Details page of your template, and there is also a "Sponsor" field in Pivot, when you push from Pivot, that field would exist twice: Once "empty" version that you'd fille in by hand, and the populated field from Pivot.
