Customize Homepage

Your site’s Homepage includes a welcome message, a table of open opportunities, an image of your choice, and supporting documents (optional). It is a highly active page, as many people access it to log in to InfoReady or to search for open opportunities. As a Super Administrator (or Global Administrator, when microsites enabled), you manage the Homepage and can customize it to fit your needs.

Configure Platform

The information you add in the “Configure Platform” section of the Admin tab becomes standardized throughout your InfoReady site. This is also where you can decide to limit access to the platform by email domain, which email address is linked with application process notifications, as well as update the Primary Org, Keywords, and Department Driven Steps lists (if applicable). Please review all articles below to ensure your platform is set up the way you prefer.

Manage Funding Organizations

The “Manage Funding Orgs” is another button on the Admin tab. When creating an opportunity that manages proposals that may be funded by an external funding source, you can add that source here, so it can be a dropdown selection on the Details page when creating an applicable opportunity. You can then report on that data in the future.

Module 9: Put into Practice Exercise

- Scenario 1: You are a new Super Administrator for a site that does not have microsites. You notice that the email address on the footer page is linked to your predecessor. Where would you go to update that email?
- Scenario 2: Your organization has decided to start using external Reviewers in the review process. Their email domains are different than members of your organization. Do you need to update the allowable email domains on the Configure Platform section of the Admin tab? Why or why not?
- Activity: After watching the three videos in the Configure Platform subtopic listed above, answer the following five questions about your site and then send your answers, along with your responses to Scenarios 1 and 2, within a Support ticket. Be sure to note completion of Module 9.

Q1: What email address is used on your site for automated emails regarding log in and registration?
Q2: Does your site allow Applicants from other email domains to register as users?
Q3: Is the "Participating Organizations" functionality turned on for your site?
Q4: What time zone is your site listed under?
