The only users who should edit their login password in the system are external users, or those who do not use their institutional credentials via the blue Single Sign-On (SSO) button to log in.
If you sign in to your site with your institutional credentials, you will need to change your password wherever that information is updated in your organization. Usually, this is some type of centralized website managed by your Information Technology (IT) department.
How to change the login password if you are a non-SSO (external) user:
1. Go to your profile by clicking your name in the upper right corner (next to 'Hello').
2. Click the Change Password button.
3. A pop-up will appear where the new password should be entered and confirmed.
4. Click Save New Password in the pop-up.
5. Click Save Changes on the profile page.
