The Review Requests Digest email is the way reviewers are reminded about review requests. It significantly reduces the number of emails reviewers receive and provides an automatic way to remind reviewers about pending reviews. If a reviewer is assigned reviews in multiple opportunities, they receive reminders in one consolidated email.

Notes about Assigning Reviewers
- Assigning reviews to the first routing step (RS1) for an individual application sends notifications immediately. (This is based off of the Review Request email template).
- Batch assigning reviews to RS1 will still send a single email listing all assigned reviews for that opportunity. (This is based off of the Multiple Review Request email template).
- Reminders for RS1, notifications about review assignments for routing steps after RS1, and reminders for the later routing steps will all be in the Digest email.
- Notifications about review assignments in RS2 and later RS will only be included in the Digest email (the default behavior).
- Administrators have the option of pushing out batch reminders to reviewers whenever they want, via the Data Grid (click the Send Review Digest Email Now link).
Digest Email Specifics
Sender
- The Digest Email will come from the email address in the footer of the InfoReady site (lower left hand corner where it says "Email us"). This is usually a primary site administrator, or a shared account shared by several administrators, but is not always an administrator connected with the opportunities associated with the assigned reviews.
- RS1 notifications come from the owner (primary administrator).
- Reminders (Digest format) pushed out by admin will come from owner.
Frequency
- The system default is Monday and Thursday at 6am ET. If you would like to change the frequency, please submit a ticketwith the following information:
- Day(s) of week you'd like the Digest sent.
- If you would like it sent every week or every other week.
- Note: This is a sitewide change, so we will need permission from a Super Admin (or Global Admin if microsites are enabled) to make the change. This setting cannot be customized per microsite or per opportunity.
- The Digest only goes to reviewers with active reviews they have access to.
- If a review is not yet available, then the reviewer won’t be notified about it.
- The Digest will continue to be sent on the specified schedule for 14 days or until the assignments are completed, whichever comes first.
- Even if the review deadline has past, if the assignment was made in the past 14 days, reviewers will get the email with assignments listed as Overdue.
Admin Options
- Admins can send out a Digest email to all reviewers in an opportunity who have pending reviews by clicking the button labeled Send Review Digest Email Now above the Data Grid.
- If admins only need to remind one reviewer, they can click the Resend link from the Reviewers section of the individual application.

A. Introductory Paragraph - Lists institution, date, and instructions
B. Go To Reviews button - Takes reviewer directly to site. Once logged in, the page will re-direct to the Reviews tab.
C. Review Assignment Summary - Current available review assignments listed by opportunity
- Administrator name and email address
- Number of pending reviews
- Type - Approvals vs. Reviews
- Next Review Due Date - Will show as Overdue if date has passed
D. Details & Instructions - Details about opportunities (if administrator has chosen to include them)
