When viewing your application history in the Applications tab, you may wonder what the different application statuses mean. Here is a brief overview of the statuses you may encounter:

  • Draft - The applicant has begun the application, but not yet submitted the application, or the application was returned by an administrator for edits prior to the review process..
  • Returned for Revisions - The application has been returned for edits during the review process.
  • Submitted – The applicant has submitted application. No administrative actions have been taken.
  • Accepted– The application has been accepted by a program administrator and has entered the review process.
    • Note: This does NOT mean the application has been awarded.
  • Awarded - The final decision was made and the application was selected as an awardee.
  • Not Awarded – The final decision was made and the application was not selected as an awardee.

Note: If any of these statuses have "(By Proxy)" after them, that means your application was originally submitted by another user (either a designated proxy or administrator) on your behalf. Learn more here.
