When there is a short turnaround time between the due dates for non-concurrent routing steps, the Review Requests Digest may not be sent until after the review was due, especially if the reviewers in the previous step are late in completing their reviews.
Here is an example scenario:
- Bob is assigned to Routing Step One, and Mary is assigned to Routing Step Two. The steps are not concurrent.
- Mary's review deadline is Friday at noon, and Bob completed his review at 9 am on Thursday.
- That means Mary will not get a review request until the Monday after her review was already due.
The good news is that you can send the digest manually at any time, as long as all reviews from the previous step are completed.
Here's how you'd do it for the scenario described above:
- Open the application and go to the Reviewers page.
- Scroll down to Routing Step Two and find Mary's assignment.
- Click the Resend link.
- A Review Request Digest will be sent to her right away.
You can also "force send" the Review Request Digest to all reviewers in active routing steps by clicking Send Review Digest Email Now above the Data Grid for that opportunity.
