You can save yourself a lot of work by making sure that your rating scales are correct before launching.

Rating scales are set at 1 - 9 by default, with 9 being the highest possible score, and 1 being the lowest possible score. But sometimes you'll want to use a different scale. Perhaps you want 1 to be the highest score instead of 9. Or maybe you only want the scale to range from 1 - 5.

Here's how to be sure your scales are correct before you launch:

1. Go back into Edit mode.

2. Go to your Routing Steps page.

3. Expand the relevant routing step and click Edit Rating Range to check your scales.

4. Edit as needed then click Save.

5. If you make any edits, be sure to go to the Finalize page and save your draft.

Notes

  • You can edit rating scales after you launch, but you cannot edit them after you have assigned the first reviewer.
  • Assigning a reviewer to one routing step for any application will lock in all of the rating scales for all existing routing steps.
  • If you add a new routing step, you'll be able to set a rating scale for that step, but once you save your edits, you won't be able to edit it again.
  • To check rating scales in a launched opportunity without going back into edit mode, check the Review tab of the Data Grid.
