The Letter of Intent (LOI) functionality in the system allows for a two-phase application process. Applicants submit initial proposals that are viewed by administrators and/or reviewers. Administrators then choose one or more applications to advance to a full competition, where full proposals are collected and sent through an additional review process (if necessary).

By default, the terminology in the system for this process is Letter of Intent. However, you can choose to modify this language based on your needs. Contact support@inforeadycorp.com to have the language changed on your site.

Note: This is a sitewide change and cannot be customized per microsite. The terminology chosen will appear to applicants, reviewers, and administrators in relevant sections of the site. Administrators will also see the changes in reports that are exported from the system.

To begin using the Letter of Intent functionality:

  • Click Create.
  • Select InfoReady Templates > Funding.
    • Note: If an LOI template has been shared with you, select Shared Templates in the first dropdown instead.
  • On the Details page choose "Yes" next to "Is this a Letter of Intent?"

Administrator view of Details page. Yes radio button selected next to question: Is this a Letter of Intent?
