The Insights Dashboard is a way for administrators to see aggregated data via easy-to-interpret charts and widgets. It is an additional feature that requires creating and sharing Insights Templates with locked fields with the appropriate administrators. Any opportunity made with an Insights Template has certain data points fed to the Insights Dashboard.
The Insights Dashboard is located in the Reports tab. Select from a variety of dropdowns to see the widgets change based on the selection(s).
Six Standard Widgets
- Application Status - Shows the status of all applications (returned are counted as draft)
- Applications Submitted - Shows the status of submitted applications, highlighting how many are awarded.
- Competition Status - Displays the number and status of competitions created using the template, beginning with the draft state (Draft, Scheduled, Closed, Open)
- Funds Allocated - Shows Total funds allocated via all competitions from the template, highlighting how much of that funding has been awarded to date.
- Funds Remaining - Shows how much has been allocated for each funding source and how much of that funding source has not been awarded to date.
- Progress Report Status - Show the status of all progress reports
Additional custom widgets may be available, based on the template. During an Insights Dashboard implementation, you will work directly with the InfoReady team to customize the dashboard to meet your needs.
FAQs
Q: Can old competitions be migrated to an Insights Template?
A: It depends. We would need to review “old” data and the new Insights Template.
Q: Can clients make edits to an Insights Template?
A: No. Once an opportunity is launched from the template, the template cannot be edited. However, competitions made from the Insights Template can be edited like any other competition (e.g., creating routing steps, editing notifications, etc.)
Q: Does deleted data show up in the dashboard?
A: No
Q: Can I copy an Insights Opportunity?
A: Yes. Data collected via the copy will appear in the dashboard.
