If a competition or opportunity has an ongoing or rolling deadline (or even no deadline at all), below are some tips for various way you might indicate this in the system on the Details page.

Hide the Internal Submission Deadline

  • Internal Submission Deadline is required, but you can hide it from applicants' view. (This is the day/time that the system will no longer accept submissions). Simply un-check the box next to that date:

Admin view of Dates section. Box to the left of Internal Submission Deadline is un-checked and outlined in red.

Applicants will only see dates administrators choose to show. In this example, that is only the Funding Organization's Deadline.

Adjust Categories or Cycles

Create categories and/or cycles that reflect the nature of the deadline(s). Use this in combination with hiding the Internal Submission Deadline to clarify why no deadline shows.

Example Category is "Rolling" and example Cycle is "Ongoing"
