The {launch sentence} mail merge field does not always appear in the message to advancing applicants. It will only appear in the message if you choose Schedule a Launch Date from the Options menu of the Finalize page of the converted competition. If you choose Launch, the {launch sentence} merge field will not appear in the message.


Here is where the {launch sentence} mail merge field appears, in the Converted Letter of Intent (Advanced) email template in the Notifications section:

On the Finalize page of the converted competition, an administrator can select Schedule Launch Date and then select a date.

Below is how the sentence will look to advancing applicants if no other changes are made to the email. The date displayed will be the date chosen by the administrator as the date the competition is set to launch.
