There may be instances when an Administrator rejects an application, but then needs to withdraw that rejection. For example, the application was rejected by mistake or a previously rejected application is now being re-considered.

  • To withdraw the rejection within the InfoReady platform, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Navigate to the rejected application from Manage tab > Data Grid

  • Click on application title.
  • At the top look for blue banner that states the application was rejected. 
  • In that banner is a gray button titled “Withdraw Rejection.”


Step 2: Click gray “Withdraw Rejection” button

  • Uncheck “Send a Message” box and no notification will be sent to Applicant.
  • Leave box checked but edit subject line and/or message to send notification that specifically explains why the rejection was withdrawn.
  • Leave box checked but do not edit message to send notification visible on the screen.


Step 3: Click blue “Withdraw Rejection” button

  • Banner now reflects day/time the rejection was withdrawn.

  • Application’s status updates to whatever status it was in before initially rejecting in Data Grid.

  • To change the status of the application to Awarded, follow these instructions.


Note: To capture the reason why the rejection was withdrawn, consider using the Notes feature.
