Form level settings help set the overall submission experience for applicants. It usually makes sense to set these at the very beginning of your creation process, but they can be adjusted at any time.


In the Designer area, click the settings icon outlined below to open the form level configurations panel.


Navigation

A. Preview answers before submitting

  • No preview - Applicants can submit right after completing form (as long as they answered all required questions)
  • Show all fields (Default) - Preview for applicants before submission shows all questions, even those they did not complete.
  • Show answered fields only - Preview for applicants before submission displays only questions they completed.

B. Complete Form button text - Text displayed to applicants on the button to finalize the submission process

C. Navigation buttons location - Show navigation buttons at the page top, bottom, or both.

D. Show TOC - Display a table of contents to applicants to help them navigate among multiple pages quickly

Pages

E. Add additional pages using the plus sign icon (optional).

F. Name each page (optional).

G. Re-order pages by drag and drop (optional).

H. Show page titles to applicants.

I. Show page numbers to applicants.

Data

The options here refer to questions that are hidden by conditional logic. For example, if an applicant fills in some fields and then changes their mind, administrators control what happens to the previously filled in fields (called "invisible values") with one of the options below:


J. Never - The data remains a part of the application.

K. When the form is completed (default) - Once the applicant submits, any no longer relevant data is removed.

L. When the field becomes hidden - As soon as the applicant changes a response that then hides the field, the data is removed.

M. When the field or its page/panel becomes hidden - Similar to L, but accounts for the previously filled in field being a part of a page or section (i.e., panel)
