If you create an opportunity with the Funding or Funding - Multitrack templates, there is a special field on the Requirements page (application form) called Comments to the Administrator(s).
Note: This specific field is not available in Form Designer, General, General - Multitrack, or Bulletin Board templates. Even if a custom field is added for this purpose, the text entered there by applicants will be visible to reviewers unless the text is deleted before assigning reviewers.
When used, any information put in this box can be viewed by administrators in the Data Grid, PDF application packets and Excel reports but not by reviewers. It can be a good place to ask applicants for conflicts of interest, potential reviewers for their application, or feedback on the application process itself.
Administrator Creation View
- Default field is optional but you can make it required or exclude (i.e., hide) it.
- Add Notes to Applicant to clarify how you'd like them to use the box.
Applicant Submission View
- Any Notes to Applicant will appear as instructions directly above the text box.
- Applicants can enter text directly in the box and use formatting options if desired.
