Release 3.54.9 of the InfoReady platform was deployed in the early morning hours of Monday, October 9, 2023. 


This release brings some changes to the user profile for all sites, plus additional capabilities to auto-populate users’ profiles within applications and/or progress report forms, a feature we’re calling Dynamic Profile. 


Features and Enhancements 

All Sites  

New default fields have been added to the user profile for all sites. Default fields include:  

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • ID*
  • Email Address
  • Email Alias*
  • Phone Number
  • Title
  • Campus*
  • School*
  • Degree*
  • Major*
  • Department*

*New profile fields 


Note: Sites with the Participating Organization Hierarchy enabled will also see these fields on the user profile as usual. 


In addition to these fields, users as well as Super and Global administrators will be able to see when the user profile was last updated.


All Sites with Form Designer Template (FDT) 

Within FDT, the Dynamic Profile feature allows administrators to add text fields to a form and set the value of a field to be auto-populated with a value from one of the default user profile fields above. By leveraging Dynamic Profile, you can reduce the need for users to enter routine information again and again.  


Here's how it works: 

  • When applicants begin a form, the marked text fields will be auto-populated with values from corresponding fields in users’ profiles; the form fields will display as read-only to all applicants. 
  • If applicants do not have specific profile fields completed, they are instructed in the form to return to their profile to add missing information. Once a profile field is completed, returning to a draft application will auto-populate the missing value in the form. 
  • These auto-populated form fields will be updated with any changes to user profile until applications are submitted. Once the application is submitted, it creates a record and the values in the submitted form will not change. In other words, the form will capture the profile information as it was at the time of submission. 


Optional Data Import or Feed with Dynamic Profile+ 

Dynamic Profile+ is an add-on to your InfoReady license that integrates the system of record at your institution with user profiles in InfoReady. In addition to simplifying the form completion process for routine information, importing user profile data into your site ensures that when the Dynamic Profile feature is used in forms, users submit data that matches your organization’s people information system.  


We support importing data for some or all of the new default profile fields, including Organization Hierarchy fields. User profile fields included in the import become read-only to users to ensure that data submitted in forms always matches the data in your people information system at the time of form submissions.
