When deciding how to set up login settings for your InfoReady site, ask these questions:

  • Will external (i.e., outside your institution) users ever need to access the platform?
  • Will Single Sign-On (SSO) be used for internal users?

Depending on the answers to these questions, your login access can be set up several ways. They are listed below from most to least restrictive:

Configured by InfoReady

Note: If you will ever have any external users (applicants or reviewers), do not choose either of these options.

  • Entire InfoReady site behind SSO login - Any user must log in via SSO to access the homepage.
  • All opportunities behind SSO login - All users must log in via SSO to see the chart of launched opportunities on the homepage.
  • Applying behind SSO login - Anyone can see Details page of an opportunity, but users must log in via SSO to apply.

Configured by Super (or Global) Admin from Admin tab > Configure Platform section

  • Force SSO for certain domains - Users with domains you specify must log in via SSO. Users with other domains log in via the Login for Other Users section.
  • Certain domains only - Users with domains you specify (outside your institution) can register for and create Applicant accounts.
  • Any email domain - Users with any email domain can register for and create Applicant accounts.
