If you need to delete an opportunity (e.g., a duplicate, a test process), follow the steps below.
NOTES: - Deleting an opportunity will delete all its associated applications and reviews (if applicable). - If you need to delete a draft opportunity, you can do so from the Manage tab > trash can icon in right sidebar. You do not need to follow the full steps below.
1. From the Manage view, click the Delete button on the right side.
2. Click Yes, Delete in the pop-up message.
3. You will then see a confirmation message. Click Ok.
Notes
- REMEMBER: Deleting an opportunity removes all its associated data (i.e., applications and reviews) from the system. It cannot be recovered.
- If you want to save the data but put the competition in a read-only state, archive the opportunity instead.
- If you need to delete a draft opportunity, you can do so from the Manage tab > trash can icon in right sidebar. You do not need to follow the full steps above.
- Our Support Team processes these requests in 1-2 business days. You will get an email confirmation when it has been deleted.
- If you make a mistake, immediately submit a ticket to the Support Team to cancel the delete request.
- If you have an urgent need to get something deleted before the two business days have passed, or if more than two days have passed and you need the deletion expedited, please don't press the Delete button a second time. Instead, submit a ticket to the Support Team explaining the situation. We can usually move your request ahead in the queue in such cases.
