Once an application has the status of Accepted, it cannot be returned to the applicant for edits, unless a specific Return for Revisions routing step is integrated into the review process.
Note: This includes applications that are already accepted due to disabling Accept/Return on the Routing Steps page or using Applicant-Driven Routing Steps.
At this point, the administrator has three options:
- Edit the application on behalf of the applicant
- Have the applicant submit a new application
- If only one application is allowed in the opportunity, the initial submission must be deleted first.
- If you need to expedite your deletion sooner than the standard 1-2 business days, submit a support ticket after you submit the delete request.
- Add in a Return for Revisions routing step, assign a reviewer to that step for that application. Then you can either:
- Review by proxy to return the application.
- Prompt the assigned reviewer to return the application.
