There may be instances when an Administrator awards an application, but then needs to rescind that award. For example, the application was awarded by mistake, the Applicant declined the award, or is no longer eligible to receive it.
- To rescind the award within the InfoReady platform, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Navigate to awarded application from Manage tab > Data Grid
- Click on application title.
- At the top look for blue banner noting day/time application was awarded.
- In that banner is a gray button titled “Rescind Award.”
Step 2: Click gray “Rescind Award” button
- New box will appear with Rescind Award template notification.
- Uncheck “Send a Message” box and no notification will be sent to Applicant.
- Leave box checked but edit subject line and/or message to send notification that explains why award is rescinded.
- Leave box checked but do not edit message to send notification visible on the screen.
Step 3: Click blue “Rescind” button
Banner now reflects day/time award was rescinded.
Application’s status updates to whatever status it was in before awarding in Data Grid.
To change the status of the application to Rejected, follow these instructions.
Note: To capture the reason why the award was rescinded, consider using the Notes feature.
