Templates don't have the same Copy feature you see on launched opportunities. However, if an Administrator wants to make a copy of an existing template, they can do so by following the steps below.
Note: You don't need to launch the copied template. Once the template is saved as a template, it will be available to select as a template when creating new opportunities.

Step 1: Go to your Manage tab
- Determine if the template you want to copy is listed under “Your Templates,” “Shared Templates,” or
“Sitewide Templates.”
Step 2: Click the Create tab and make dropdown box selections
- Template Type: Refer to Step 1, and select the type.
- Template: Select the specific template you want to copy.
- Purpose: Select the purpose that most closely aligns with this template.
- Once selections are made, click "Next."
Step 3: Review all sections
- Although details and other information from the template you selected will populate, you'll need to enter an Internal Submission Deadline date to move forward. Any future date is acceptable.
- Update other areas of the template, if necessary.
Step 4: Click Finalize button
- In the “Options” dropdown, select “Save As Template.”
- Add the title of the new template, perhaps adding a date to differentiate it from any similar templates.
- Click the "Finish" button.
- If you choose, you can now share the template: Sharing Templates with other Administrators.
