Release 3.52 of InfoReady was deployed in the early morning hours of Friday, May 26, 2023. No downtime for a maintenance window was needed.

For the last several months, we’ve shared that we’ve been doing a lot of work “under the hood” preparing for new features and major enhancements. Today, we’re thrilled to introduce our new Form Designer Template! This new template marks a major upgrade to building forms for applications and progress reports. We hope you love it and look forward to your feedback.

Features and Enhancements

The new Form Designer Template (FDT) is available to clients with Gold licenses and above, as well as any client who has the General Template as an add-on. The template is packed with new features for Requirements and Progress Reports forms. No changes were made to Routing Steps or Notifications. Highlights of the new Form Designer Template include the following:

• Improved Usability
  • New “Drag & Drop” functionality to build forms with a familiar and modern form building experience
  • Drag and move questions to control form layout
  • Copy fields and easily change question types (i.e., from a multiple choice to a checkbox) without losing question labels or answer choices
  • Build forms via an accessible interface.
• Simplify Forms with Conditional Logic
  • Display questions, sections, or pages to applicants based on how previous questions were answered.
  • Make certain fields required when conditions are met.
• Organize Forms for Improved Clarity
  • Sections and pages provide new options to structure forms
  • Add instructions to pages, sections, or questions in a variety of ways
  • Use conditional logic to display only the questions, sections, or pages applicants need to see or complete.
• Build Confidently with Preview
  • Form Designer’s Preview allows admins to check their logic and required field configurations as they build
  • Preview allows admins to interact with the form to see how the form will display to applicants before launching a competition.
