Release 3.81 of the InfoReady platform was deployed in the early morning hours of Friday, April 3, 2026.
Features and Enhancements
In this release, we’ve made the following updates:
Upgrading Sitewide Templates
In the last release, we allowed the highest-level administrator on a tenant to upgrade “Sitewide Templates” by visiting Admin > Configure Platform. We’ve added a little more functionality here to help top-level administrators upgrade any Funding or General templates. When selecting a General or Funding template, these admins can now see if the template upgrade process has already started and choose to continue editing that template or verify that it is fully upgraded.
See the reminder below for additional details about the retirement of the General and Funding templates on 7/1.
Character and Word Limits Added to Rich Text Fields
Within the Form Designer template, administrators will now find that they can configure word or character limits on Rich Text Fields. This new setting option is available on rich text fields across the requirements, Form Designer routing steps, and progress reports.
Tenant Branding in Web Browsers
Clients may now request updates to the name that appears in their browser window and tabs when using InfoReady. We can replace “InfoReady” with the label of your choosing. Authorized administrators may submit a ticket to the support team to request a customized label.
Accessibility
We continue to make accessibility improvements across the platform. Changes to federal accessibility requirements are coming on April 24, 2026 (switching to the new InfoReady homepage instantly improves accessibility). We are working diligently to ensure that your InfoReady tenant meets accessibility standards.
This release we made major updates throughout the platform to:
- PDFs generated by the platform
- Forms
- Web browser zoom experience
If you spot a specific accessibility issue at any time, please submit a ticket to the support team.
The VPAT will be updated by Friday, April 10 to account for the changes included in this release. As always, you can find the VPAT by clicking the “Accessibility” link in the lower right corner of your InfoReady site.
Other Enhancements
Every release addresses a variety of bugs, performance improvements, and accessibility enhancements to maximize your InfoReady experience. The InfoReady Support Team will reach out directly to any clients who have submitted tickets for any specific issues resolved with this release.
Key Fixes and Updates:
- We’ve improved our messaging when an external user (non-SSO) tries to set a password that isn’t strong enough.
- We resolved an issue where some co-administrators weren’t seeing competitions in their Manage tab.
- If you’ve chosen a different term for “competition” and/or “application” for your site, that term will be the base name for PDFs (e.g., opportunitydetails.pdf, submissiondetails.pdf)
- We cleaned up the behavior of the “Select All” option in the Data Grid so that entries stay selected, even if you navigate to other pages.
- In the Reports tab “Search” field, you can now hit “Enter” on your keyboard to execute the search.
A reminder…
Retiring the General and Funding Templates
Since being introduced in December 2023, the Form Designer template has been the preferred option to create opportunities in InfoReady due to its improved functionality and usability over other templates. For those that haven’t made the switch to Form Designer, it’s now time to upgrade your Funding and General template opportunities to make them easier for you to manage and for applicants and reviewers to complete their forms.
We’ve worked the last several months to make the process of upgrading existing Funding and General template opportunities as smooth as possible. You will see information throughout the platform about how to complete the upgrade process for any opportunity that you may need to upgrade.
Between now and July 1, 2026:
- We encourage you to create opportunities using only the Form Designer template.
- Begin upgrading any competitions you expect that you will need to use after July 1.
- Attend training webinars dedicated to the upgrade to the Form Designer template. We’ll be hosting monthly webinars on the topic, with different webinars covering either basic or advanced concepts. See here for the full list of webinar options.
Any opportunities launched with the Funding or General templates before July 1, 2026 will not be impacted. You will continue to be able to manage those opportunities for the duration of those opportunities, including Progress Reports. Any opportunities created with the General or Funding templates after July 1 will need to be upgraded before you can launch them.
For complete information on the upgrade process, see the article Upgrade to the Form Designer Template on the InfoReady Support Portal.
