Release 3.83 of the InfoReady platform is expected to be deployed in the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 10, 2026.Features and Enhancements
This release was primarily focused on preparing for the sunset of the General and Funding templates, as well as a host of bug fixes.
Sunsetting the General and Funding Templates
The July 1 sunset date for the General and Funding templates is around the corner. Starting July 2:
All new opportunities will use Form Designer as the base. You will no longer be able to create and launch opportunities using the General or Funding templates.
You will be able to continue managing any existing Funding or General template opportunities launched prior to July 1 without interruption. This includes assigning and collecting progress reports years into the future.
You will be able to convert any Letter of Intent (LOI aka 2-phase) opportunities built with a legacy template to a full competition that uses a legacy template.
You will be able to continue upgrading Funding and General templates and opportunities to Form Designer.
For complete information on the upgrade process, see Transferring Existing Opportunities to the Form Designer Template on the InfoReady Support Portal.
Save Behavior When Creating Draft Competitions
When working in a draft competition, InfoReady has always auto-saved your work when navigating to another page (e.g., from Details to Requirements).
Now, Administrators will see “Save Edits” and “Cancel Edits” buttons while they’re working on their drafts, which provides more control over edits within a page. After saving, a green “Edits saved” message will appear at the top of the screen. This will also occur when navigating from page to page in edit mode.
Award Amount Available as Mail Merge Tag in Progress Report Assignment Email
Admins can now include {award amount} in the “Progress Report Assignment” email template.
This will be especially helpful for processes where you’d like to combine the initial award notification with the first progress report assignment. For example, if the first report is an award confirmation form.
Locked Fields
For custom projects, we have introduced the ability to lock any form element (field, section, or page), which cannot be edited or moved when in the locked state.
Locking fields is particularly helpful when designing a template, especially those you plan to share with other Administrators. This will ensure standardized data collection is consistent with how the original template was designed, as well as data integrity for improved reporting.
Contact your account manager if you have a custom project or special initiative for which InfoReady could be used. Aside from locked fields, we have a wide range of additional functionality beyond what is available in standard licenses. Our team can work with you to define requirements and scope the custom project.
Accessibility
- We believe that accessible code is good code. But we do miss things from time to time. You can view any known issues on our Accessibility Forecast.
- Our VPAT is up to date.
- If you spot a specific accessibility issue at any time, please submit a ticket to the support team.
- The “Accessibility” link in the lower right corner of your InfoReady site provides access to these and other accessibility information and resources.
Other Enhancements

Key Fixes and Updates
We adjusted Applicant-Driven Routing Steps so that the labels can only be modified in the configuration on the Requirements page to prevent downstream issues.
We resolved the ability to filter by primary organization in the Data Grid.
We’ve restored functionality that will help Admins search existing InfoReady users when using the cc/bcc function when sharing announcements, and awarding and rejecting applications.
We fixed an issue with Return for Revisions steps where applicants could not re-submit, even though the deadline was in the future.
We cleaned up some downloading PDF scenarios where empty Supporting Documents fields were preventing the download. Remember to use the right one when creating your applications! Learn more.
