Release 3.87 of the InfoReady platform was deployed in the early morning hours of Friday, October 2, 2026.

Features and Enhancements

New Notification Sender Settings

Administrators will notice two new options when they visit their Notifications pages:

  1. Display name - How the sender'ser name appears in emails sent for the competition

  2. Reply-to address - Address users reply to for emails sent for the competition

While the default setting for both of these options is the competition owner’s name and email (as usual), they can be changed to more clearly identify who notifications are coming from and where any responses should go. For example, Administrators may choose to change the display name to a unit or office name and the reply-to address to the office’s shared inbox. These new options let administrators build and manage processes under their institutional accounts while enabling collaborative communication that highlights the unit'sit name.

Eligibility Criteria Tool

This new InfoReady tool brings an automatic eligibility checker to the application form. Administrators configure the eligibility tool using questions from the application form and can even block submission based on eligibility status. On the applicant side, clear messaging will indicate eligibility status and which fields to check if they were flagged as ineligible.

The Eligibility tool is included in Gold licenses and above, and in the Template Bundle.

*Note: The Eligibility Criteria tool will be available Friday, October 9.

Multi-Factor Authentication

Another layer of security is coming to the InfoReady platform. Clients now have the option of enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) for accounts that don’t log in with institutional SSO (i.e. external users). This option requires external users to register an existing authenticator via a QR code. Once registered, all future login attempts will require the user to enter a 6-digit code to complete the login process. Learn more.

MFA will be an opt-in security feature for all sites through the end of 2026. In early 2027, MFA will be automatically activated for all sites that have not yet enabled it. The date of the full rollout is January 8, 2027.

Reviewer Management

With this release, we’ve continued our work on the Reviewer Management module. A handful of institutions are participating in our Early Adopter program and will begin using the Reviewer Management module starting in October. We’ll continue adding to and refining the Reviewer Management module over the next few months and plan to make it available in early 2027. Stay tuned for more news in the future, including how to add the module to your license. Exciting times ahead!

Accessibility

We believe that accessible code is good code. But we do miss things from time to time. You can view any known issues on our Accessibility Forecast.

Our VPAT is up to date. If you spot a specific accessibility issue at any time, please submit a ticket to the support team.

The “Accessibility” link in the lower right corner of your InfoReady site provides access to these and other accessibility information and resources.

Other Enhancements

Every release addresses a variety of bugs, performance improvements, and accessibility enhancements to maximize your InfoReady experience. The InfoReady Support Team will reach out directly to any clients who have submitted tickets for any specific issues resolved with this release.
