Awarding or Rejecting

The awarding and rejecting phase of an opportunity involves an action and an optional notification. Depending on the opportunity, this step can be done individually or in batches. There is also some flexibility in what is included in the notification, should you choose to send one.

Module 5C: Put into Practice Exercise

Scenario 1: You manage an opportunity and are ready to award and reject applications. You have specific instructions to share with awardees. How might you share that information within the platform?
Scenario 2: You rejected an application in error, it should have been awarded. What steps would you need to take to award the application?
- Activity: Find an awarded opportunity. Go to the Award tab and click on the title of an awarded application. Click the Award button on the right-side of the page, then scroll down to see the award notification. Don’t worry, this will not award the application again. Take a screenshot of the award notification and paste that into the Description box of a Support ticket. Add a note that you completed Module 5C and include your responses to Scenarios 1 and 2.
