Release 3.38.1 of InfoReady Review™ was deployed in the early morning hours of Friday, September 18, 2020.
The theme of this release is communication. Administrators will find new functionality for displaying information in several areas of InfoReady Review and new options for sending notifications.
New Features and Enhancements
- InfoReady Review sites can now be configured to have notifications sent from the administrator’s email address instead of the generic sender email address currently used (support@inforeadyreview.com).
- Changing the sender setting involves InfoReady developers working with an IT person at your institution to configure the option.
- The new feature is available in the Platinum license package or can be added separately. Please contact info@inforeadycorp.com for more details.
Toggling Fields On and Off on the Details Page
- When creating or editing a competition, administrators can now choose which fields from the Details page to display to non-administrators by checking or unchecking the box to the left of the desired field.
- The new functionality also applies to custom fields and any fields created when importing funding opportunities from Pivot. Furthermore, the functionality works with previously launched competitions, draft competitions, and templates.
- Unchecked fields will not be displayed to non-administrators, but will still be available to admins and included in competition reports downloaded from the Reports tab.
Layout of Date and Deadline fields on Details page
- Date and deadline fields are now grouped together into their own section on the Details page, including any custom date fields that are added.
- Administrators can also edit the label for the title of the dates section.
- Applicants will see all date fields grouped together at the top of the Details page. The Internal Submission Deadline will be displayed first followed by all other dates will be displayed in chronological order sorted from earliest to latest date.
- Competitions listed on the Calendar now list all default date fields that have been filled out. The update can be seen in the preview that appears when hovering over a competition on the calendar.
The Participating / Primary Organization field has been added to the Bulletin Board template.
Share Button for All Competitions
- The ‘Share’ button is now available to all administrators on all competitions.
- Previously admins needed to be have permission to manage the competition in order to be able to access the Share menu. The change makes it easier for any administrator to disseminate information about competitions.
Deleting Progress Report Forms and Fields
- Administrators can now be delete forms, fields, and file uploads in Progress Reports by clicking the trash bin icon.
- The option is available when creating or editing a competition.
CC/BCC Option Removed for Routing Steps that use Reviewer Digest Email
- Routing Steps where the review assignment notifications are only delivered by the digest email no longer have the CC/BCC option.
Permission Changes for Super Administrators on Microsite-enabled Sites
- When viewing a user profile, Super Administrators are no longer able to view the listed of applications started on other microsites by the applicant.
- Previously Super Admins were able to see the list of all applications started by the user, but were not able access the applications started on other microsites.
- Global administrators retain the permission to access any application and competition. Regular Administrators did not previously have the permission and will continue not having the permission to view the other applications.
