InfoReady Release 3.42 was deployed in the early morning hours of Monday, May 31, 2021.
The release focuses on broad and significant updates to the Progress Reports module that will allow administrators and institutions to improve data collection when measuring outcomes and impact of awarded applications in the InfoReady platform. All Progress Report updates in this release are available to all license levels.

Updated User Guides: This release included significant changes for administrators and applicants. If you include user guides as resources on your InfoReady homepage or share them regularly, make sure you have the most updated versions. Download them here.
New Features and Enhancements
Creating & Editing Progress Reports – The form builder has been completely revamped.
- Administrators can now add separate sections to a progress report. There are two section types: 1) Publications, or 2) Custom.
- Instructions can now be added to both the header of each progress report and individual fields for a progress report.
- The number of field types increased from 6 to 10. New field types include:
- Date Range
- Dollar Amount
- Multiple Choice with ‘Other’
- Multiple Select
- File uploads can now be associated with specific progress report forms. Admins have the option of requesting file uploads or providing a file that should be filled out and returned.
Managing Progress Reports
- A batch action now exists on the Enhanced Application Grid to assign progress reports (with associated deadlines) to multiple awardees at once.
- Previously, separate menu items existed for scheduling report reminders and viewing the submitted forms for an individual application. These have now been merged into one menu item labeled “Progress Reports”.
- There are now two options for assigning and triggering the corresponding notification for progress reports: 1) Assigning immediately, or 2) Assigning on a specific future date.
- Specific messages can now be used for each progress report when multiple forms have been set up in a competition.
- The notification sent to administrators when a progress report is submitted includes the competition title, application title, progress report name, applicant's name, and a link to the report.
- Admins can choose to skip or avoid assigning specific progress reports to specific awardees.
- The Post Award tab on the Enhanced Application Grid now has additional fields to provide admins a better understanding of progress report status at a glance.
Applicant Experience
- A progress report must be assigned before an awardee has access to it.
- A new Progress Reports tab has been added to the Global Navigation Bar.
- The Progress Reports tab has a similar layout to the Applications tab and Reviews tab.
- Awardees will be able to easily find and complete assigned progress reports, view previously submitted progress reports, and see if any may be assigned in the future.
- They will receive an email to confirm their progress report was submitted.
Reports - Updated to accommodate the additional progress report options in competition-level and global versions
