Routing Steps

Routing Steps can take some thought. These steps establish the structure of the review process for your opportunity, as well as the actual forms reviewers fill out. The key is to map out your review process, then work to see how that workflow can be replicated within InfoReady.

Module 3D: Put into Practice Exercise 

Note: If you would like to practice creating a test opportunity as you work though this and upcoming various modules, please see Module 3G: Finalize to learn how to save your work as a draft.

- Scenario 1: Your review process has two steps, but you need Reviewers in Step 1 to complete their reviews before Reviewers in Step 2 begin theirs. You also need Reviewers in Step 2 to see the reviews completed in Step 1. What box(es) would you check in your Routing Step Options for Step 1 (see below), in the above scenario?



- Scenario 2: Applications for your opportunity are either deemed Funded or Not Funded, based on one review step. Which Routing Step type would work best for your review process?  
- Activity 1: Create a Comments and Ratings Routing Step type, selecting 2 Comments & Ratings in the dropdown box for the Routing Step Type. For the first Comments & Ratings box, edit the scale to reflect a rating of 1-5 with 1 the highest rating value. Then, edit the second Comments & Ratings box to also reflect a rating scale of 1-5, with 5 the highest rating value.
- Activity 2: For the Routing Step you created in Activity 1, add Reviewer Instructions advising Reviewers how to download an application in pdf form. Take a screenshot of your Routing Step and paste it in the body of a Support ticket. Note Module 3D completion in your ticket, as well.
