  • Assign Reviewers to applications using both methods: to one application (individually) or to groups of applications (batches). 
  • Discuss Reviewer notifications and explain when notifications are sent. 
  • Perform the task of submitting a review by proxy as an Administrator.

Assigning Reviews

You have identified who your Reviewers will be and are now ready to assign applications for review. However, before you start the review process, please check the status of the application(s) to be sure they are Accepted before moving ahead. Then, decide if you want to assign reviews individually or in batches.

Reviewer Notifications (Review Digest email) 

There is no need to email Reviewers outside of the platform to let them know of their review assignments. If your Reviewers are assigned to the first Routing Step, they will be notified right away by email. For Reviewers assigned in Routing Steps 2 and beyond (if applicable), a notification will be sent via the Review Request Digest Email.

Admin Interventions 

During the review process, there are other actions Administrators may need to take on applications, such as reviewing by proxy, skipping routing steps, or deleting assignments.

Module 5B: Put into Practice Exercise 

- Scenario 1: You have two email addresses on file for a Reviewer, and you are not sure which one to use for review assignments. The Reviewer is a member of your organization and logs into InfoReady through Single Sign-on. What steps should you take to ensure you assign reviews to the correct email address?
- Scenario 2: You have three Routing Steps in your opportunity, and you recently assigned reviews for all three. A Reviewer in Routing Step 2 says they have not received a review notification yet. You checked the Data Grid Review tab and see reviews are assigned to this Reviewer. Name three possible reasons why this Reviewer did not receive their notification.
- Scenario 3: A Reviewer who is not very tech-savvy is assigned to review one application and is having some challenges navigating the system. They are very frustrated and refuse to submit their review within the platform. What service could you offer to help this Reviewer? What specific steps could you take to complete the review?
- Activity: If you have not already done so, register for a new InfoReady user account to use for testing purposes. Be sure you use a personal email address; do not use the same email address you already use to sign into the system. Then, click on a test opportunity and practice assigning this test Reviewer to applications by batch for Routing Step 1. Then assign the same application to the same Reviewer for Routing Step 2, within the application itself. Finally, access the application to submit a review by proxy. When done create a Support ticket, note that you have completed Module 5B and include your answers to Scenarios 1-3, as well as any questions you have about the review process.
